Autumn Forest Elopement at Treehouse Point

Fall is one of my favorite seasons in the Pacific Northwest, and it’s also an amazing time of year to elope in Washington. The colors on the trees begin to change to beautiful orange, red, and yellow hues. Mornings are crisp, the air is clean, and many popular trails become less crowded! Seriously, what’s not to love?

Meet the Stars of this Autumn Forest Elopement, Lane & Nicole

Lane and Nicole came all the way from Louisiana to get married in Washington. They wanted something unique and beautiful for their elopement, and in their search, they came across Treehouse Point, a forest elopement venue. As soon as they saw the location and the various elopement packages that were available, they were hooked! They fell in love with the surroundings and knew they wanted to marry there.

How Lane & Nicole Celebrated Their Intimate Elopement at Treehouse Point

Lane and Nicole arrived a day before their elopement so they could explore the area a bit more. They were in awe of our mountains and beautiful colors and I don’t blame them. I still get amazed every time I see Mt. Rainier in the distance or go hiking in the Cascades. Washington is such a beautiful state and I love being able to experience its beauty with my couples!

On the day of their forest elopement, I arrived at Treehouse Point to snap some photos of them getting ready. They chose a peaceful ceremony location by the river, complete with a mossy archway created by the trees. It was an incredibly intimate experience for just the two of them.

After their ceremony, we snapped more couple photos by the river, taking in the beautiful scenery around us. Lane and Nicole could not have chosen a better time for their forest elopement as the autumn colors were in full swing!

To celebrate, the couple shared a mini cake and some champagne in their treehouse provided by Treehouse Point. After cake, we headed out to a nearby lake to get some more photos with the mountains and northwest scenery in the background. It started to rain, but these two were still down for an adventure and we captured some incredible romantic photos in the rain.
