Ski Resort Wedding at Grand Targhee

Tyler and Miranda were living in Jackson Hole when they first contacted me about their wedding at Grand Targhee. Miranda was super excited to start the planning process. They were most excited about showing off the beautiful Tetons to their friends and family who would be attending the wedding. I first got to meet them when I was in the area for a wedding the summer before. We did their engagement photos in Grand Teton National Park. I so enjoyed hanging out with them and their ADORABLE dog Bogey.

The Wedding at Grand Targhee

Their wedding at Grand Targhee turned out amazing. It was a perfect summer day in Jackson Hole in late June. The wildflowers were abundant, blooming in bright yellow, purple and white. I loved how the aspen trees were twinkling against the bright blue sky. They decided to do a first look at the top of the ski resort. This required a bit of coordinating, but I headed up with Tyler first and we waited for Miranda to arrive together. Due to Jackson Hole’s incredible winter the season before, there was still a ton of snow at the top of the mountain. It made for a romantic scene, a summer sky with the snowy white Tetons in the background.

After toasting beers with their friends, Tyler and Miranda plus the group made their way down to the base for the ceremony. I love how when you have a wedding at Grand Targhee everything is set up all in one place. The ceremony flowed easily into an outdoor cocktail hour, followed by dancing and dinner down in the aspen grove.

I so enjoyed working with these two and hope that they have an incredible life together as a married couple. Thanks for choosing me to capture your special day!
