Mt Rainier Engagement Session with Wildflowers

Each year I run an “Adventure Session Giveaway” during the month of February. The past few years I’ve received over 100 applicants! I have each applicant fill out an entry in which they have to talk about their favorite adventure together. One of this year’s winners was Malissa, and here is her story:

“Our most recent adventure was the hike we took on Whidbey Island. Little did I know that this would be the best hike of my life! This was the hike Michael, my fiancé, purposed to me and we started on life’s greatest adventure! We plan to go back to that hike every year on September 15th to reconnect and take time to reflect on our relationship and all the memories that we have built together!”

Michael & Malissa’s Mt Rainier Engagement Session

The winner gets to choose where they would like their adventure session to take place. After a lot of research of different ideas, Michael and Malissa decided upon a Mt Rainier engagement session during wildflower season. If you haven’t witnessed the wildflower season in Mt Rainier, you’re missing out. The hillsides and meadows turn a spectacular rainbow of colors. Pink, yellow, purple, white, red…it’s simply stunning! This is all backdropped by spectacular views of the ever-looming Mt Rainier.

I took Malissa and Michael along some trails at the Paradise entrance for their Mt Rainier engagement session. It was a perfect day, with sunshine streaming along the hillsides. We enjoyed a somewhat short hike around the area. Along the way we explored waterfalls, bridges, and of course the epic wildflowers. I had a blast with these two and hope they have an absolutely wonderful life continuing their adventures together.

Are you interested in a wildflower engagement session at Mt Rainier? The best time to book and visit is late July into early August. Email amy@amygalbraith to get on my calendar for a session. They book very quickly during that season!
