While they had gone to school together for years, it wasn’t until their 10 year high school reunion in Woodinville that Tory and Annea connected. Just a year and a half later, Tory popped the question while overlooking Century Link Field. It was the perfect engagement for this Hawks-loving duo! The happy couple began planning their wedding and six months later found themselves at Swiftwater Cellars in Roslyn, Washington on a beautiful sunny (and very hot!) summer afternoon. A navy and coral color palette complemented the surrounding mountain lodge feel beautifully and Annea carried a bouquet of 21 gorgeous white peonies. The couple began the day getting ready in the surrounding homes of Suncadia. They then had their first look at the winery and proceeded to recite their very own personal vows in front of their closest friends and family. They spent some time cooling off in the thankfully air-conditioned bridal and groom’s suites before the real ceremony began and they said their “I Do’s”. Guests enjoyed wine and cocktails and lawn games post-ceremony as the sun set behind the tall trees. If you haven’t been to Swiftwater Cellars, the reception space downstairs is magical. Walking into it was like walking into a scene from Game of Thrones. It is dark and romantically lit with string lights, wine barrels lining the walls and a private space with a long king’s table where guests shared congratulations on the couples’ live video guest book. Everyone danced the night away and waved sparklers as the bride and groom made their exit in their very own golf cart.
