Jackson Hole Mountain Wedding in Teton Village

Chris and Tamara are adventurous, passionate, and so so in love. I knew we would be a great fit when their initial email said “Looking for an awesome photographer for our awesome wedding” – no need to say more, I’m in! These two hail from Salt Lake City but have spent years visiting and skiing in the Tetons. Their Jackson Hole mountain wedding was backdropped by sweeping views of the peaks at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at the beautiful Hotel Terra. They began their day with a first look at the top of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Tram – a tradition that I think should be carried out by more couples! There was nothing more romantic than watching Tamara run across the mountain top to greet her beaming groom. All smiles and lots of passionate kisses, these two reveled in their first few moments together on their wedding day. Their group of friends cheered as they greeted them and beers and tequila shot-skis were enjoyed by all. We rode the tram back down, which basically turned into one big party. The tram operator was happy to oblige and played all of the group’s favorite songs. The ceremony was backdropped with sweeping mountain views of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on a rooftop at Hotel Terra. To personalize their ceremony, the couple tied a climbing knot together. Shortly after their first kiss as husband and wife, the two took a ride on one of the chairlifts where they got to spend some quality alone time together before the party got going. This Jackson Hole mountain wedding is sure to be one I’ll remember for a long time!
