Happy May and welcome to the new blog! I’m so excited to be sharing my most recent work in this new space. Getting an updated blog has been a long time coming and finding something that seamlessly fits with my branding and image sharing needs has finally become a reality. I was fortunate enough to have my husband set up the new site and develop the entire thing himself. Integrating through WordPress is a much better solution than using Blogger like I was before and gives me a much easier platform to develop SEO. Please enjoy the new design. Now, onto some photos from a recent family I photographed in Seattle.
Back on one of the prettiest days so far this year, I had the pleasure of photographing Tony and Kayley. These two are getting married in just over one month and will be joining their two families together. I can only imagine what a roller coaster ride it must be juggling life with multiple teenagers and wedding planning all at the same time! When I first met with Kayley we chatted about doing an engagement session and thought to ourselves – why not make it a family session? It’s clear that these two are crazy about each other and love their kids so much. Capturing the connection between the two of them along with their amazing family was a fantastic way to spend a sunny afternoon in downtown Seattle. We started out with a stroll through Pike Place Market buying flowers and playing with their cute pups, Snort (yes, that might be the cutest name ever!) and Penny. After that we made our way down to Olympic Scupture Park where we watched seals play and enjoyed some sunshine on the beach. They were such a great family to spend time with and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next month!
