Laura and Harrison’s orchard wedding in Hood River, Oregon was the perfect way to kick off the summer wedding season! The couple planned a relaxed outdoor wedding with family and friends and the whole day was so chill and tons of fun!
Laura and Harrison live in Seattle and, like many from the PNW, they love the outdoors! Some of their favorite activities are hiking and backpacking, and simply taking advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. They have even been known to bring their paddleboards to the backcountry to enjoy an alpine lake paddle! Seriously, they love an adventure! When they aren’t out hiking, they love spending time with their two pups who I got to meet on their wedding day!
Relaxed Outdoor Wedding Venue Near the Columbia River Gorge
For their wedding venue, Laura and Harrison chose a sustainable fruit farm nestled at the base of Mt Hood in Hood River, Oregon. Mt View Orchards, is a beautiful and serene location with close proximity to the mountains and it offers stunning views of Mt Hood. They could not have chosen a more beautiful location for their laid-back outdoor wedding! I mean, look at those views!
Laura and Harrison’s Relaxed Orchard Wedding
It was a warm and beautiful summer day in Hood River when Laura and Harrison got married. The day started with everyone getting ready for the ceremony and afterward Laura and Harrison had an intimate first look under the fruit trees. Of course, their dogs made an appearance as well!
Their ceremony was beautiful and Mt Hood stood tall in the background creating a stunning backdrop! The reception dinner took place under a beautiful covered terrace with views of Mt Hood, followed by open-air dancing. Everyone was having a blast!
One of my favorite moments of the wedding day was when one of Lara and Harrison’s friends grabbed his guitar and surprised the couple with a song. Definitely a tear-jerker and such a special moment!
They ended the evening with alpenglow views of the mountain and super fun dancing under an open sky. Congrats Laura and Harrison! Your wedding day was beautiful, and I’m so honored to have been a small part!
