Alex and Alyssa were married during a snowstorm of epic proportions in February. While the masses raided the grocery stores, these two made their way over the Cascade Mountains and tied the knot in the quaint little town of Leavenworth. Nestled against Washington’s largest mountain range, this little town is the perfect place for a winter wedding. While a Leavenworth winter wedding isn’t for everyone, it was for Alex and Alyssa at Pine River Ranch. They began their day with a first look and reading their vows privately to each other under a towering pine tree. Once their family arrived, everyone put on their snow boots to watch Alex and Alyssa’s ceremony, as snow fell lightly all around them. The evening was then filled with warm beverages, s’mores, lots of laughs, and a live band to set the dancing scene. After the festivities, everyone made their way back to town to enjoy additional drinks, snacks, and games at Leavenworth Cider House. Alex and Alyssa gave everyone tasting glasses as wedding favors and enjoyed a stroll through the twinkling lights in Leavenworth’s town square. The next day, they invited their more adventurous guests to head up to Stevens Pass to ski with them. It was a weekend filled with love and celebration, perfect for this adventurous pair.
