I always get excited about winter. It gives me a chance to enjoy my personal passions (snowboarding) and also gives me some time to catch up on sharing weddings from the summer, brainstorm new ideas for the next season, and spend some time with my family. While the snow falls outside, I bring to you a wedding from one beautiful hot July day at Des Moines Beach Park. I never knew that Des Moines had this super cute little spot on the water. It was the perfect place for Chris and Kim to tie the knot. They grew up in the area going to the beach there and spending time at the harbor so the shoe just fit. I loved how they incorporated beach-inspired decor on their wedding day. From the soft pastels of the bridesmaid dresses to the bottles of shells and fishing net, they didn’t miss a beat. The cider served at their wedding was made by the groom himself! I so enjoyed connecting with this amazing couple both for their engagement session at Stevens Pass and their Des Moines Beach Park wedding. Check out some of my favorites from this hot summer wedding below!
