Maroni Meadows Wedding Photos

Matthew and Megan met when they were quite a bit younger, working as attendants at a bouncy house play center for kids. Their colleagues watched their relationship blossom from friendship to romance and the rest is history. Matthew proposed to Megan while hiking in the Enchantments near Prusik Peak. Megan had set up a self timer to take a photo and ended up taking a photo of Matthew proposing! The couple loves spending their spare time in the mountains. They love to boulder, backpack, and climb together. You may remember them from their adventure engagement session I did on one beautiful fall day in Index.

This sweet pair chose to have their wedding in Snohomish. Their Maroni Meadows wedding was filled with lush greenery, wood-fired pizza, and dancing among the summer evening ambiance. It was a cooler day than usual for August. We never got rained on though and enjoyed lovely cloudy weather. Their day truly felt like a breeze, and I felt like these two were able to sit back and really soak in all the fun from their wedding day.

A few highlights from their wedding day for me were as follows:
– Matthew’s super emotional response to his first look of Megan.
– A portable wood-fired pizza oven and gelato, yum!
– The sun peeking through the clouds right as they started their first dance.
– Megan and her father’s super fun choreographed father/daughter dance.
