Daniel & Danielle tied the knot on a beautiful summer weekend in July out in Leavenworth, Washington. The mountainous area is home to incredible hiking trails, a cute Bavarian town, and outdoor activities about. It’s the perfect location for a Washington mountain wedding, whether your wedding is big or small. Wildflowers were in full bloom at the time, giving a stunning backdrop for the pair to say “I do”.
The pair met while attending the University of Washington in Seattle. They were both at a fraternity party, dancing to the music of DJ Kryspin. Danielle was most impressed that Daniel took her on a “real” date, which can be pretty rare for college kids. Since graduating, they have purchased a home in West Seattle that they have spent a good amount of time renovating themselves. Daniel graduated from the construction management program at UW, so he is fully using his skills to help them customize the perfect home.
THE WEDDING DAY
Their wedding day was a beautiful summer day in the mountains. Danielle was getting ready at a cabin along Lake Wenatchee and Daniel at the venue. Before the ceremony, they shared a first look private vows to each other on the shores of Lake Wenatchee. Daniel is a leather craftsman and made his own bowtie and belt himself. He also gifted the belts to his groomsmen. For the first dance, Daniel spun Danielle all around the dance floor like a pro. He even performed an incredible choreographed dance with his mom! Daniel and Danielle chose a pale pink as part of their wedding decor, which looked beautiful against the surrounding wildflower landscape. Everyone danced late into the night, enjoying every minute of this Washington mountain wedding under the stars.
